Main Street Cafe & Pub

The Main Street Café & Pub story began when two local restaurant couples, John and Faith Roppelt together with Aaron and Sharen Glugover joined hands in 1999 to take over what was then a struggling eatery known as Gulf Stream Café. The brothers-in-law, John & Aaron realized that Hilton Head's North End badly needed a friendly, unassuming neighborhood café and pub serving good food at reasonable prices. Chef Aaron developed a family-friendly menu that specialized in seafood and family favorites, referring to it as “Pub fare with a creative flair,” for lunch, happy hour and dinner. Twelve years later, Faith joined her brother Chef Aaron to operate the restaurant.
